Adventures of Discovery Through Genealogical Storytelling
We Package a Lifetime of Memories.
Doesn’t your family history deserve more than a scrapbook?
While legacy stories delve deep into history, their presentation shouldn’t be antiquated.
We infuse family histories with modern, multimedia flare where peering backward often offers perspective on moving forward.
We are also a renowned national source for document retrieval in Kansas City, New York City, and Washington, D.C.
Gina Boucher - Lead Historian & Researcher
As a young girl, Gina and her best friend constantly put their investigative minds into action to solve suburban neighborhood “mysteries”—emulating the lives of Nancy Drew and Harriet the Spy.
Today, Gina keeps her love of solving puzzles (and revealing the unknown) alive with the same curiosity as her early days of being the neighborhood sleuth—only now with a passion for helping people reconstruct the story of where they came from while bringing a cast of characters to life along the way. Gina’s two most cherished loves are family and research—a perfect combination for a genealogical storyteller.
Gina holds a certification in Genealogical Studies from Boston University. She is a member of the Association of Professional Genealogists and the National Genealogical Society.
Jenée Arthur - Founder | Executive Producer
Jenée is the other half of the childhood best friend investigative team of ‘Gina and Jenée Mystery Solvers.’
Today, Jenée fortifies her love of storytelling by running a storytelling agency that produces narratives for professional clients while writing and speaking for a campaign she created to bridge the divide between the “us/them” narrative.
Jenée leads our adept team while holding the vision for each project. She combines her communication and storytelling skills and her love of people with Gina’s thorough research to create multimedia presentations and story ‘reveals’ that touch the hearts and minds of our clients.

Our Legacy Showcase highlights your family’s legacy by bringing together most, if not all, of our legacy services into one multimedia package:
• Documentary video or series
• Audio compilations or episodic podcast series
• In-depth family history research

Family History
Whether we deep dive into your family’s past or finally solve a simple mystery that’s been nagging at you for years—our family historians conduct thorough research to uncover your unique family story.
Our creative team will display your family story or family tree with the following:
• Genealogical research
• In-person or virtual oral presentations
• Beautiful hardbound books
• Video suites to pass down and share with the family for generations
• Unique family trees
• Professionally drafted reports
This is the crux of what we do. It’s our starting point; learning everything we can about your family— while specializing in unearthing those hard-to-find backstories.
House History
History is no more present than in our physical homes. If walls could talk, imagine the stories they might tell. Since they can’t, let our historians uncover the voices of those who walked the halls before you.
No matter what decade it was built, your house and property have a backstory—and we can find it.
Our House History services include:
∙Site visit and professional photos of the current home
∙Copies of located documents
∙Research your home’s first and subsequent owners
∙Building timeline, schematics and blueprints, and building permits—where available
∙Owners and occupants throughout the years (and their stories)—where available
∙Neighborhood stories
TOUR-N-TELL
We take you and your family back in time to visit your ancestors' homes, schools, churches, cemeteries, and places of interest. This service includes research and in-person (or virtual) tours with accompanying documentation—making you feel like you’re walking in their shoes.
One Day Your Ship Came In
Your Immigration Origin
Our IMMIGRATION ORIGIN research pinpoints the ship your ancestors came to America on. Because we all originate from somewhere that isn’t here.
FADED GENES—Genetic Unearthing
DNA doesn’t lie!
And our DNA genetic unearthing helps you make sense of the information you receive from ancestral tests such as 23andMe, AncestryDNA, FamilyTreeDNA, or others.
